What’s The Story?

We want people to know the story behind the meat they eat and to tell you all about it! In short, we are a local company with a big story to tell.

Whenever you eat, whether you are conscious of it or not, you are directly supporting the farming methods and the industry that produced the food. For better or worse your food choices influence not only your own health and well being but that of the farm animals and the planet too.

We want you to shake the hand that feeds you and make a real connection with the food you eat.

Our story began more than ten years ago when founders Jim Twine and Luke Hasell both inherited stunning land in the Chew Valley near Bristol. From the farms have grown Blagdon Butchers and this meat delivery service as well as local food venues and an annual music festival. Follow the links below to find out more.
